November 2011

So, the clocks have gone back and winter’s just around the corner but, on a positive note, that means we are starting to light the wood fire in the lounge. Going by the rush to grab the surrounding seats after dinner, we know a traditional open fire is enjoyed by many.

Although it’s a relatively quiet part of the year, it’s also the time for many groups and companies to have their Christmas lunches and dinners. You are always welcome to drop in for lunch but, if you are travelling a long distance, it may be wise to ring ahead first. It is not hectic everyday: however we don't want you to make a special journey to us and be disappointed because we are fully booked, so please do give us a quick call and enquire about availability.

Speaking of popping in for lunch, it you have a Devon address, there are some special offers available in accommodation, meals and cream teas. Just call or email us to find out more.

If you are interested in a (gentle) activity holiday, we have another  Painting and Mosaic course coming up in December (9th to 11th). Also, there are still a few places available for Christmas and New Year if you fancy getting away from the kitchen this year, call us.
